Hope or High Water

As a younger person in this chaotic election year I can no longer hold my breath. The exasperated supporters of Hillary Clinton have mocked the energies directed towards the Obama campaign as coming from naive children, who confuse charisma and rhetorical flourish with strong leadership. Those Americans who believe that Obama is the better candidate are said to have ‘tasted kool-aid.’ Apparently, Obama is the leader of a cult who has corrupted the minds of a rapidly increasing contingent of young people. They explain away Obama victories in states with low populations of the <35 group by convincing themselves that college-age children have somehow infected their parents with the Obama-bug or by simply dismissing these sates as unimportant.
This site is my attempt to dispel these myths and, after giving it much thought, state the case for Obama in terms which might be unfamiliar to many readers. I sincerely hope that these posts will trigger dicussion, even heated debate. I invite you to share your own thoughts.
